Speaking.

tetherpoint

I provide speaking services for parent groups, educators, churches, conferences, and events.  My speaking style is engaging, energetic, and fun and combines practical research with practical application.  Presentations are geared toward helping parents, caregivers, and educators to understand the potential underpinnings of a child’s challenging behaviors (through a neuroscience lens) so that they can effectively and empathically respond in a way that invites safety, trust, and connection with the child.

A few common speaking topics include:

  • Parenting a “porcupine”- for adoptive and foster parents
  • Caring for the caregiver- for parents raising complex kids
  • Adoption, Trauma, and attachment topics through a Christian lens

I am happy to tailor a presentation to meet the specific needs of your group.
